Sonara ("we," "us," or "our") is a sleep and focus audio application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

We do not record audio from the microphone for AI conversations. If you use voice input, speech is converted to text on-device using Apple's Speech Recognition framework, and only the resulting text is transmitted to our servers.

At sign-in, we infer your approximate geographic region (country/region level only) from your IP address to provide localized content. We do not collect precise GPS location, and we do not request Location Services permission.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not collect or store your payment details, credit card numbers, or Apple ID password. We only receive a confirmation of your subscription status from Apple.

When you confirm account deletion, the following data is permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymized:
Anonymous aggregate statistics (such as total listening minutes and check-in counts) may be retained in de-identified form and cannot be linked back to you. This is consistent with our legitimate interest in understanding product usage and with PRC Personal Information Protection Law Article 47.
Important: Your App Store subscription is managed by Apple and will not be canceled automatically when you delete your Sonara account. To stop future charges, cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions before deleting your account. If you re-register with the same Apple ID while an active subscription exists, the Pro status will automatically restore — this is a side effect of Apple's billing model, not a re-subscription by us.
Account deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. If you want to use Sonara again later, you will need to create a new account, which may reuse the same Apple ID but will have a fresh user identifier and no prior history.

Sonara is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Our servers are located in China. If you access Sonara from outside China, your data will be transferred to and processed in China. By using the App, you consent to this transfer. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that appropriate safeguards are in place.
Sonara requests microphone access only for voice input to the AI assistant. We use Apple's on-device Speech Recognition framework to convert speech to text locally on your device. The raw audio is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. Only the resulting text transcription is sent to our AI service for processing.

当您确认删除账户时,以下数据将被永久删除或不可逆地匿名化:
匿名的聚合统计数据(如累计收听时长、签到次数)会以去标识化形式保留,无法与您个人关联。这符合《个人信息保护法》第四十七条"技术上难以实现"或保留期限情形下采取去标识化措施的规定,也符合我们了解产品使用情况的合法利益。
重要提示:您在 App Store 的订阅由 Apple 管理,删除 Sonara 账户时不会自动取消订阅。如需停止扣费,请在删除账户之前前往 iOS 系统设置 → 你的 Apple ID → 订阅 取消订阅。如果您在订阅仍有效期间使用同一 Apple ID 重新注册,Pro 会员状态会自动恢复 —— 这是 Apple 计费机制的副作用,并非我们主动为您续订。
账户删除立即生效且不可撤销。如果您之后想再次使用 Sonara,需要重新注册账户。您可以用同一个 Apple ID 再次注册,但会获得全新的用户标识符,原有历史数据不会恢复。
Sonara 不面向 14 周岁以下的未成年人。我们不会故意收集不满 14 周岁未成年人的个人信息。如果我们发现收集了此类信息,将立即予以删除。若您是未成年人的父母或监护人,且认为您的孩子向我们提供了个人信息,请联系我们。
我们的服务器位于中华人民共和国境内。如果您从境外访问 Sonara,您的数据将被传输到中国境内进行处理。我们按照《个人信息保护法》等法律法规的要求,确保跨境数据传输的合规性,并采取必要的安全措施保护您的个人信息。
